Your Fynov onboarding checklist

Follow these steps to get the most out of Fynov. Check each task as you complete it.

  1. Create your account

    • Go to fynov.org and click "Start free"
    • Enter your email and choose a password — no credit card required
    • Verify your email (check your inbox)
    • You're in. Your 14-day free trial starts now.

    Keep your password secure. Fynov uses industry-standard JWT authentication.

  2. Add your first asset

    • Navigate to Portfolio in the sidebar
    • Click "Add asset" or the + button
    • Search for any ticker: BTC, ETH, AAPL, NVDA…
    • Enter your average buy price and quantity
    • Save — your P&L updates instantly

    Not sure of your buy price? Use your broker history or estimate — you can edit later.

  3. Read your first market report

    • Click on any asset in your portfolio
    • Scroll to the "AI Analysis" section
    • Read the contextual report: sentiment, macro, technical summary
    • Check the news sources linked at the bottom

    Reports refresh automatically as the FynovScore updates. Bookmark assets you watch closely for quick access.

  4. Check your AI signals

    • Click "AI Signals" in the sidebar
    • See the Bullish / Neutral / Cautious stance for each FynovScore™-tracked asset
    • Click any signal to see reference price, hypothetical target, and risk management level
    • Review the confidence score and reasoning

    AI signals are included in your 14-day trial as well as on the Pro and Business plans — only the number of FynovScore™-tracked assets differs (2 on trial, 5 on Pro, 15 on Business).

  5. Set your first alert

    • Go to Alerts in the sidebar
    • Click "New alert"
    • Choose your asset, type (price, % change, or FynovScore™ threshold), and trigger value
    • Turn on email notification if you like — alerts always show in-app
    • Save — Fynov will notify you automatically

    FynovScore™ threshold alerts require FynovScore™ tracking to be enabled on the asset.

  6. Ask the AI Assistant

    • Navigate to AI Assistant in the sidebar
    • Type any question about your portfolio or the market
    • Examples: "Is my ETH allocation too high?", "What's driving BTC today?"
    • The Assistant replies with context-aware, personalised answers

    The AI Assistant has full context of your holdings and performance history. Included from the trial (10 messages), then 50 messages/month on Pro and 250/month on Business.
